Market-Leading Functionality
On top of AFF-compliant, high-resolution real-time tracking, the Indigo MOBILE has
two digital inputs, which can be used to report a variety of aircraft parameters,
such as Weight On/Off Wheels, Engine On/Off, Landing Gear Raised/Lowered, and many others. The MOBILE also monitors the aircraft's movement, and will optionally trigger automatic TAKEOFF and LANDING messages, based on GPS speed.

Safety
The Indigo MOBILE incorporates the same "Alert" function as the Indigo One - a simple
activation by the pilot causes an Alert message to be sent on a priority channel,
and the unit will switch to reporting on a 30-second interval.
Cancelling the Alert can be done by the pilot, after which the unit reports that
the "situation" is over, and returns to the normal configured reporting interval.

Installation
The Indigo MOBILE requires no installation, and can be operated from a simple connection
to the aircraft electrical power circuits. It can also be switched off with a power
switch on the Indigo MOBILE itself. It can also be powered by one of our portable, rechargeable battery packs (optional extra).
Optionally, the cable can be permanently installed to pick up and report on aircraft
parameters.

Coverage
The Inmarsat satellite constellation provides reliable coverage between 78°N and
78°S, day and night, 365 days a year. This enables accurate tracking of the aircraft
when out of radar coverage.
The Indigo MOBILE is designed to operate up to 55,000ft, and at speeds of up to 0.96
Mach.

Portability
The Indigo MOBILE can be detached from the cable with a simple yet secure locking
mechanism. This allows an operator to install a number of aircraft with the cable,
and rotate the Indigo MOBILE between aircraft. This means that you can track just
the aircraft you want to, when you want to, which reduces your operating costs.

Operation Costs
You manage your costs by selecting which aircraft you want to track, and at what
time interval you want them to report. Typically, the Indigo MOBILE costs less than
US$1.00 per hour of operation, with a US$10 monthly license fee. Check with sales@indigosat.com
